Patient Confidentiality

All patient information is taken very seriously and treated in the strictest confidence whilst keeping in line with the Data Protection Act 1998.  Practice Inspection Records and details of the practice audit process and improvements are available on request.

 

NHS Charges & Private Fee Lists

All treatments offered will be estimated, discussed and agreed with you in advance.  NHS treatment costs and exemptions are available at reception.  A list of Private fee ranges is available on request at reception.

 

Payments

Payments are based on a ‘Pay as you go’ policy. Either part or full payment will be due on the day of treatment depending on the stage of the treatment plan.  These can be made in the form of cash, debit card or credit card. We no longer accept cheques as payment. 0% interest credit is available for transactions over £500, subject to status. Terms & Conditions apply.

 

Complaints Procedure

Our aim is to have happy patients. We are open to learning from your experience and would welcome all feedback. Should you have any concerns please contact our Practice Manager.  If a solution is not met, the Practice Manager will advise on the next stage.

 

Appointments

Please call ahead for an appointment or drop into the surgery. Our friendly reception staff will do their best to find you a suitable and convenient appointment.  A text reminder will be sent out when your next appointment is due.   Please ensure all mobile and landline numbers are up to date with our reception staff.

 

Cancelling an appointment

If you have to cancel an appointment please let us know at least 24 hours before. This enables us to offer the appointment to someone who may be in pain.

A charge will be applied for patients who fail to attend their appointments. This applies to both NHS and Private patients.

 

Emergency appointments during opening hours

In the case of emergency call immediately for an appointment.

For emergencies in the morning, we have a ‘Sit and Wait’ policy. The first available dentist will assess and treat you in order to address the emergency.
